Idea 2 Business Program (I2B)

If “2B or not 2B” is the question, I2B is the answer.

Why it matters

  • Youth unemployment and underemployment waste national talent.
  • 90% of startups fail worldwide, largely because most universities lack an integrated model.
  • Governments spend billions on jobs programs with little sustainable impact.
  • I2B closes these gaps by embedding entrepreneurship into education, aligning with sector priorities, and creating jobs at a fraction of the usual cost.

How I2B works

I2B transforms final-year university students into real business founders by graduation. Unlike traditional graduation projects, it provides structured training, funding, incubation, and five years of post-graduation support. Students don’t just graduate with a degree; they graduate with a company, a product, and paying customers.

The program rests on a four-pillar partnership. Government ensures alignment with national priorities, the private sector provides mentorship and market access, universities embed entrepreneurship into the curriculum, and ISM MENA delivers the framework and management.
